a little about me

I realized a true passion for photography when my children were born and I started documenting their lives with my camera. Capturing all of their special moments and milestones inspired me to turn my hobby into a business, and Alexander Rose Photography was born (and named after the little people who inspired it).

 

I have a bachelor's degree in Communications/Graphic Design and have taken additional design and photography courses over the years from SVA, NYU, The New School and more. Having a background in design allows me to offer additional creative services with my photography, such as cards and invitations, both of which I love to do.

 

As you will see in my portfolio, the beach tends to feature prominently in my work-it is my favorite place to be. My family originally hails from Long Island's beautiful East End, which is also where I got my degree (LIU). I am now living just across the sound in Connecticut with my husband, two children, and 13 year old vizsla. We love to spend as much time as we can by the water.
